Welcome, New DLIS Students!

Posted on Updated on

It’s hard to believe, but summer classes are just a few days away, which means a new crop of students will be here (or virtually here, as the case may be.) UB Student ALA welcomes you all to the program! We look forward to seeing new faces at upcoming ALA events and meetings — stayed tuned to the DLIS listerve and this blog for announcements of when those will occur.

Here are a few links new (and current) students might find handy:

Calendar for the GSE Labs — save yourself a trip to campus-find out if the lab you want to use is open without getting out of your jammies

UB Parking & Transportation Services — get or renew parking permits online, shuttle schedules, parking maps, etc.

UB Campus Maps — downloadable PDF and/or clickable maps with info/trivia — did you know Baldy Hall contains 186,298 gross square feet?

UB Library Widgets — save time searching the catalog or researching

Got a link you’d like to add? Please share it in the comments!
